Curtain up for the Hubers

Hermann

Hermann is one of the managing directors of the Huber Hotels in the second generation.

He is not only a passionate chef and master cheesemaker, but also a farmer and mayor of the municipality of Galtür. As head chef, Hermann ensures that the highest quality is always served. His daily motivation is to continue his parents' legacy and constantly improve quality. Hermann particularly appreciates the opportunity to produce the best products - such as his cheese - himself here in Galtür and to bring them closer to his guests along with other local delicacies.

Erika

Erika, Hermann's wife, has been working in the business since 1984 and runs the Almhof together with him.

Originally from Carinthia, she is the good soul of the house and is particularly popular with both guests and staff. Her greatest motivation is her children, who are also fully involved in the business, and of course her grandchildren. One of her favorite hobbies is exploring the huts and mountain pastures of Galtür on her e-bike.

Philipp

Philipp, Hermann and Erika's eldest son, has been working in the family business since 2005.

He has been running the Hotel Rössle together with his sister-in-law Sabine since 2018. As a certified sommelier and enthusiastic “cheesemaker”, he contributes his expertise on a daily basis. In winter, Philipp is responsible for the hotel's own Faulbrunnalm. His incentive is to introduce guests to the diversity of Galtür. He loves nature, skiing and paragliding.

Patrick

Patrick, the middle son of Erika and Hermann, has been working at the Almhof since 2007.

Together with his wife Sabine, with whom he has two children, he works both in the cheese dairy and in winter in the Tenne, the Almhof's restaurant. In summer, he is responsible for the Faulbrunnalm. His motivation is to get his children interested in the farm and his work at an early age. Patrick loves winter sports, the proximity to the mountains and the pleasant climate of Galtür in the summer months.

Christian

Christian is the youngest son. He started at the farm in 2014 and is passionate about farming.

He is responsible for around 120 cows and attaches great importance to handling and caring for the animals, which has also brought him success in competitions. Working with animals is his passion and he particularly appreciates the fact that he can keep his animals on the lush alpine pastures of Galtür in summer in a species-appropriate manner.

Sabine

Sabine Huber, Hermann and Erika's daughter-in-law, has been part of the family business since 2003 and completed her apprenticeship at the Almhof.

Together with Philipp, she has been managing the Hotel Rössle since 2018. Her motivation is the satisfaction of the guests and employees as well as the continuous development of the business. Sabine loves the family-friendly ski area of Galtür, which she enjoys using with her two children, as well as the huts, which are also ideal for hikes with children.

Our entire family lives and loves their work and we put our heart and soul into ensuring that every stay at the Huber Hotels is an unforgettable experience.

Come and see for yourself: We look forward to seeing you!
